We are currently looking for a ICL Project Consultant to join our Consultancy team in our India office.

The Opportunity

You will be working as an integral member of our expanding international consulting team, influencing the design of sustainable buildings and communities. You will run computer simulations to analyse the energy performance of buildings, advise clients on the results of the simulations and recommend improvements to the designs.

You will be involved in the application of a new technologies and solutions (ICL solutions) on buildings across South East Asia.

The Candidate

Essential skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (building services, mechanical, environmental, architectural or similar) or demonstrable equivalent.
  • Experience of working in the field of sustainable building design such as energy modelling, energy auditing, commissioning, low energy design, retrofits or retro-commissioning.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret design and construction documents, including building floor plans, mechanical plans and schedules, sections, construction specifications, shop drawings, and operating sequences.
  • Experience of using building simulation software or related software tools (e.g. CAD, energy modelling, loads analysis, daylight modelling, solar modelling, HVAC design tools).
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office suite.

Desirable skills:

  • Experience of using the IES VE/ICL software would be advantageous, but full training on the appropriate tools will be provided to the right candidate.
