This role will be working from our Glasgow office with hybrid and flexible working options available.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Sales Administrative Assistant to join our Head Office in Glasgow and support our team, selling our Virtual Environment technology for energy-efficient buildings. The successful candidate will be supporting customers as well as a team of business development managers operating across UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia.

Full time role, hybrid working available with a minimum of 2 days per week office based, optional homeworking 3 days per week, more office-based days may be required depending on needs of the team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining an organised customer database using a CRM system
  • Updating weekly payment reports and managing customer licences
  • Working with our sales team to maximise opportunities for growth
  • Market research on agreed target markets and specific customers
  • General lead generation via online searches

The Candidate

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

Essential Skills:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • At least one year of experience working in an office administration role
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to use online search tools, such as LinkedIn, to build network of customer leads
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form and build relationships
  • A proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to be flexible to adapt to changing priorities

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM software, would be advantageous, however, full training in our product range will be provided
