The Opportunity

We are currently looking for an IT Helpdesk Administrator (1st line) to join our global IT team based in our Glasgow HQ.
The successful candidate will be part of a UK based team who manage IT systems for IES worldwide. The role will involve the following:
  • Administering IT helpdesk requests.
  • Dealing with first level issues and allocating more complex issues to higher tier support.
  • Supporting our range of web-based services and online applications.
  • Support the onboarding process for new IES employees worldwide.

The Candidate

We are looking for a competent IT Helpdesk Administrator looking to expand their skills or an enthusiastic IT graduate who’s looking to kick start their career. Skills include the following:
Essential Skills:
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant subject.
  • Experience with Windows operating system technologies.
  • Experience of Exchange 2010 or 2016.
  • Experience of Virtualised Environments.
  • Active Directory administration.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
  • Appetite to learn new skills and advance existing knowledge.
  • Ability to think of innovative solutions to unusual problems.
  • Experience with Cloud technologies.
  • Experience of working with Windows 10.
  • Remote Desktop Services.
  • VoIP experience.
