This role will be working from our Glasgow office with hybrid and flexible working options available.

The Opportunity

We are currently looking for an experienced IT Analyst (2nd line) to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be part of a predominately UK-based team who manage IT systems for IES worldwide. The role will involve maintaining our core systems in the Glasgow head office and other regional offices whilst assisting in the development of new infrastructure projects. The candidate will also be involved in supporting our range of web-based services and online applications.

The Candidate

We are looking for an experienced IT Analyst with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, you will be a confident communicator with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
You should have an IT qualification to degree level (or relevant alternative professional accreditation) and a desire to further your professional qualifications.

Skills include the following:

Essential Skills:

  • Multi - site Active Directory administration.
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Disaster recovery
  • Virtual Machine hosting & management.
  • Microsoft Certification
Desirable Skills:

  • Terminal Services / VDI
  • Firewall management
  • VoIP experience
  • Cyber security
  • Azure experience
  • Linux experience
