The Opportunity

The team are working on a special project and looking for a recently qualified accountant to support the team for an anticipated 6-month period.

We are looking for someone positive and proactive to come in and help make a difference. Happy to roll their sleeves up and take on all kinds of tasks to support the team.

The work would involve:

• Special Project work
• Support to the management accountant at month end
• Involved in the year end process
• Financial Analysis. Manipulate and extract large data sets within Excel
• Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving queries
• Review and improve processes
• General finance tasks

The Candidate

We are looking for a recently qualified accountant with the following skills and experience:

Essential Skills:

• A recently qualified accountant, though equivalent relevant industry experience will also be considered
• Strong technical accounting skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong working knowledge of Excel
• Excellent problem solving and communications skills
• Motivated, proactive, hard-working, reliable and well organised
• A proven track record of working as a team player

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working with foreign subsidiaries and currencies.

The company uses sage 200, and salesforce. Although experience of them would be helpful, it is not necessary.
