The Opportunity
The team are working on a special project and looking for a recently qualified accountant to support the team for an anticipated 6-month period.
We are looking for someone positive and proactive to come in and help make a difference. Happy to roll their sleeves up and take on all kinds of tasks to support the team.
The work would involve:
- Special Project work
- Support to the management accountant at month end
- Involved in the year end process
- Financial Analysis. Manipulate and extract large data sets within Excel
- Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving queries
- Review and improve processes
- General finance tasks
The Candidate
We are looking for a recently qualified accountant with the following skills and experience:
Essential Skills:
- A recently qualified accountant, though equivalent relevant industry experience will also be considered
- Strong technical accounting skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
- Excellent problem solving and communications skills
- Motivated, proactive, hard-working, reliable and well organised
- A proven track record of working as a team player
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with foreign subsidiaries and currencies.
The company uses sage 200, and salesforce. Although experience of them would be helpful, it is not necessary.
