This role will be temporarily homebased due to COVID-19. Then subsequently working from our Glasgow office with hybrid and flexible working options available.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Sales team member to join and support our global team, selling our ICL digital twin technology for energy-efficient buildings and communities. The successful candidate will be supporting customers as well as a team of business development managers operating across UK, Europe, Middle East and North America.

Responsibilities will include:

  • First line response to leads that come through our marketing funnels
  • Market research on agreed target markets and specific customers
  • General lead generation via online searches
  • Contacting leads to generate customer interest in our technology
  • Maintaining an organised customer database (we use Salesforce CRM)
  • Working with our sales team and customer support teams to maximise opportunities for growth. Follow up on trials to build customer experience database.

The Candidate

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic graduate who is passionate about technology to develop their skills in a supportive global team. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

Essential Skills:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to use online search tools, such as LinkedIn, to build network of customer leads
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form and build relationships
  • A proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to be flexible to adapt to changing priorities
  • The successful candidate should have business insight to succeed in the role and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desirable Skills:

  • Awareness of the AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) industry or a relevant engineering qualification
  • Experience of working in a software or technical sales role would be advantageous, however, training in our product range will be provided
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM software .
