The Opportunity
The role will involve maintaining and developing multiple web applications including our company website and software licensing systems.
Liaising with our IT, QA & DevOps teams to maintain the health and continued availability of above systems.
Monitoring, pen-testing and fixing any issues found.
Updating legacy web applications to current PHP
The Candidate
Will have several years’ Symfony experience in a responsible development role and be looking to move into enterprise-level systems.
Essential:
- Experience writing clean, modern PHP including event-driven programming and dependency injection.
- PHP 8+
- Symfony Framework
- Doctrine ORM
- SQL (MySQL, MariaDB or Postgres)
- VCS (e.g. Git / Perforce)
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Creation and use of REST APIs
- Linux (Debian/Ubuntu based systems preferred)
- Apache web server (or NGINX)
- React JS
- Pimcore CMS (Symfony-based)
- Microsoft Azure
