Automation QA Lead/Manager

This role will be working from our Glasgow or Dublin office with hybrid and flexible working options available.

The Opportunity

Due to company growth, we are expanding our Automation QA team. We’re currently looking for an experienced Automation QA Lead to join our team in Glasgow or Dublin

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Accountable for the output of a dedicated Automation QA team working within Scrum Teams
  • Mentoring, leading, supporting Automation QA’s on Scrum teams wrt quality strategy, implementation, best practice & best tools.
  • Working across Scrum teams ensuring adherence to process, e.g. Definition of Done, Release criteria
  • Lead and build an AQA Team through creation of a Automation Strategy, Test Framework & automation implementation to support new Architecture
  • Lead Best Practice & Continuous Improvement culture to support our growing CI/CD pipelines
  • Lead the investigation, evaluation of appropriate tools, technologies & techniques for testing
  • Implement effectiveness and robustness of automation test frameworks

The Candidate

What you will bring to the role:

  • Proven track record of leading teams through automating the management of large-scale infrastructure
  • Have significant understanding of Cloud based technologies, primarily MS Azure along with one other. i.e. AWS, GCP or IBM Cloud
  • Vast experience in systems automation, orchestration, deployment, and implementation
  • You will be a creative and strategic thinker
  • You will have a track record of leading, gaining alignment and developing individuals in a very collaborative way
  • Highly proactive and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Dynamic leadership, ability to adapt, collaborative approach & excellent communication skills
  • w/Test Arch an advantage

This role is a senior leadership position requiring extensive leadership experience in previous roles.
