The Role
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a key role in driving business growth across the APAC region by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers.
Working closely with the Business Development Manager and wider commercial team, you will be responsible for generating high-quality sales opportunities, building an active pipeline, and helping organisations understand how IES solutions can support their sustainability and building performance goals.

What you will do
- Identify and engage prospective customers through email, phone, social media, and other outreach channels
- Research organisations and key contacts to determine suitability for IES products and services
- Qualify leads against defined criteria to determine sales readiness
- Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the Business Development and Sales teams
- Nurture prospective customers by providing relevant information and resources
- Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Work closely with technical specialists and internal stakeholders to support customer engagement
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and pipeline activity within CRM systems
- Support business development campaigns and market engagement initiatives across the APAC region
- Contribute to the achievement of team sales and lead generation targets
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a sale, business development, lead generation, or customer service role
- Strong understanding of sales processes and performance metrics
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Highly motivated, energetic, and target-driven
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively with a wider team
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
Nice to Have
- Experience providing business development or sales training
- Experience selling software, technology, or technical solutions
- Knowledge of the IES Virtual Environment (VE) software
- Understanding of sustainable building design principles
- Awareness of environmental certification schemes such as LEED or Estidama
- Familiarity with building energy regulations and performance standards
