Role Overview
The Energy & Commodities Renewables desk in Bergen (Norway) is seeking a Junior Broker to join their team. Ideally we are looking to speak to local graduates who can communicate verbally, and in writing, with English and Norwegian and ideally have had previous experience in Broking.
Renewables typically refers to energy sources that are replenished naturally and can be utilised without depleting finite resources. These energy sources are often considered more sustainable and environmentally friendly compared to traditional fossil fuels. Renewables represent a growing and increasingly important segment of the energy and commodities markets, driven by concerns about climate change, energy security, and the transition to a more sustainable energy future.

Role Responsibilities
- Promote TP ICAP Group.
- Deals input with a view to be trained to eventually communicate with clients.
- Keep pricing screens and trade records up to date.
- Provide complete support (operational and administrative) to the brokers for the smooth running of the desk, making sure brokers can remain at their desks to trade.
- Ensure timely input of trades into trading systems and via Bloomberg.
- Resolve any trade queries received internally and externally and ensure any trade discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
- Provide input on various projects for brokers and traders.
- Provide trade details to brokers and traders on a daily basis.
- Monitor markets and follow financial news and developments.
- Assist with the on-boarding of new clients.

- Demonstrated and practical understanding in the financial markets and the economy.
- Understanding of the Energy & Commodities sector as it relates to financial markets.
- Comfortable conversing with clients and peers in person and virtually.
- Evidences professional and personal integrity at all times.

- Good communication skills, written and verbal, in English and Norwegian.

- Additional language skills would be advantageous.
