Position Objective
The VP/AVP – Investor Relations & Fundraising will lead Husk’s global capital-raising
activities across debt and equity, manage investor and lender relationships, oversee
covenant compliance and reporting, own the company’s fundraising financial model, and
coordinate cross-functional workstreams across geographies. This is a high-impact
leadership role supporting the Global CFO.
Key Responsibilities
1. Debt Capital Raising
Source, structure, and execute complex debt transactions (on/off-balance sheet,
SPVs, securitization, receivables financing, blended/climate finance).
Lead negotiations on security structures, inter-creditor arrangements, covenants,
and waterfall priorities.
Manage multi-country due diligence (financial, legal, technical, ESG) and coordinate
loan documentation with legal counsel.
Drive compliance and smooth transaction closings.
2. Equity Fundraising
Support the Global CFO in equity raise planning, investor outreach, and preparation
of business plans and investment cases.
Assist in valuation analysis, sector benchmarking, and governance structuring.
Manage data rooms, investor Q&A, diligence processes, and documentation
workflows.
3. Investor & Lender Relations (IR)
Serve as the primary point of contact for existing lenders, DFIs, multilaterals, climate
funds, and equity investors.
Ensure covenant tracking and timely reporting to investors, lenders, and donors with
dashboards, performance reports, and periodic updates as desired.
4.Financial Modelling &Reporting
Own and maintain Husk’s global fundraising financial model (corporate + SPV).
Prepare high-quality Board decks, investor presentations, and strategic materials.
5. Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner with finance, legal, engineering, operations, accounting, and business teams
to support due diligence and investor deliverables.
Coordinate internal workflows across geographies to ensure timely and accurate
submissions.
Enhance processes, systems, and internal capabilities to strengthen future
fundraising.
Qualifications & Experience
MBA from Tier-1 institutions - IIM A/B or Top Tier Ivy league (e.g. Stanford, HBS etc)
with an engineering background preferably).
10–13 years in structured finance, project finance, or infrastructure finance,
preferably in corporates & startups
Strong experience with complex debt structures, SPVs, securitization, cross-border
financing, and covenant management.
Renewable energy, solar, infrastructure, utilities, or climate-tech experience strongly
preferred.
Exposure to equity fundraising, investor negotiations, and corporate documentation.
Advanced financial modelling and excellent communication skills.
