SENIOR INVESTMENT MANAGER – RENEWABLE ENERGY TRANSACTIONS – BERLIN

Are you a senior investment or project-finance professional with a track record of leading renewable-energy transactions? Do you want greater influence over investment strategy, transaction execution and the commercial direction of major energy-infrastructure projects?


We are looking for experienced professionals for current and upcoming Senior Investment Manager opportunities across Germany's renewable-energy market.


The Market Opportunity

This role combines investment, transaction execution and structured project finance across onshore wind, solar and BESS.


You will take a leading role in evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, shaping transaction and financing structures, and guiding projects through Investment Committee approval to key investment decisions, supporting the continued growth of a significant multi-gigawatt project pipeline.


Typical Scope

  • Lead investment assessments, valuations and transaction processes across renewable-energy assets.
  • Develop and challenge financial models, investment cases and commercial assumptions.
  • Drive due diligence, coordinating internal specialists and external advisers.
  • Prepare investment recommendations for senior management and investment committees.
  • Manage relationships with developers, lenders, investors and transaction counterparties.
  • Support or lead negotiations covering financing, acquisition and project agreements.
  • Help shape project bankability, financing strategy and progression towards FID or closing.


About You

  • Five or more years of relevant experience in investment, project finance, infrastructure finance, lending or transaction advisory.
  • A strong record of leading complex financial analysis, due diligence or transaction workstreams.
  • Advanced financial-modelling, valuation and commercial-analysis skills.
  • Experience with debt, equity or non-recourse financing structures.
  • Credible senior-stakeholder management and negotiation capability.
  • Professional fluency in German and English.
