Aspire Solar – Solar Sales Consultant (Tampa Bay Area)
Full-time • Inbound Leads Only • Local Residential Solar Installer
Aspire Solar is a rapidly growing, owner-operated residential solar and battery installer serving the Tampa Bay region. We’ve built our reputation on high-quality work, transparent communication, and a smooth, customer-first project experience. As we continue expanding, we’re hiring a motivated and detail-oriented Solar Sales Consultant to help us meet demand from qualified inbound leads.
This role is ideal for someone who wants a long-term career in a technical, high-trust industry - without high-pressure tactics, door-knocking, or vague commission promises. You will receive steady leads, hands-on training, and the opportunity to grow with a company that values honesty, craftsmanship, and clear communication.
What Makes This Role Different
- All leads are inbound from homeowners who specifically request quotes (primarily through EnergySage and our website).
- No cold calling, door-to-door, or list-buying.
- You’ll learn to design solar and battery systems, price proposals, and guide homeowners through the decision-making process.
- Clear, structured handoff to a dedicated Project Manager - your focus is sales and homeowner education, not permitting or utility paperwork.
- Direct access to the owner for coaching, support, and professional development.
Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Support
- Consult with homeowners to understand goals and system requirements
- Present system sizing options, pricing, and equipment pros/cons
- Build proposals in our solar design software (training provided)
- Provide consistent follow-up and answer technical and non-technical questions
- Deliver a smooth handoff to the Project Manager at project close
Field Work
- Conduct site visits for measurements, photos, or roof inspection
- Attend the first morning of installation when possible
- Complete post-install walk-throughs and gather final photos
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure a great customer experience
- Maintain clean communication with the homeowner, install crew, and internal team
Compensation & Benefits
- Commission-only role with transparent payout tiers (5% - 7.5% of project value depending on monthly close volume)
- Vehicle allowance of $500/month after probation (with basic vehicle-condition requirements)

- Flexible schedule with the ability to perform quoting and follow-up from home
- Leads provided - no self-generated requirement
- Comprehensive training in solar design, equipment, and quoting tools

Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to learn new computer-based tools
- Sales experience preferred but not required
- Comfortable balancing office work, follow-up, and field visits
- Full-time availability with occasional extended hours based on homeowner schedules
