What you can expect:
- Together with the Environmental Impact Team, you take responsibility for steering climate action initiatives across the supply chain, with a clear focus on decarbonization, supplier engagement, environmental data quality, and governance.
- With passion and foresight, you contribute to the development and implementation of climate change mitigation and decarbonization initiatives and support the operational roll-out of the supply chain decarbonization roadmap, including internal trainings and governance formats.
- With strong drive, you manage the Decarbonization Commitment for supply chain partners and ensure progress on coal phase-out, the transition to renewable energy sources, and improvements in energy and water efficiency.
- As a key interface, you work closely with cross-functional internal stakeholders and external manufacturing partners on environmental impact data collection, joint decarbonization programmes, feasibility studies, and the identification of financial opportunities to enable investments.
- You routinely analyse environmental and impact data, support the Scope 3 emissions inventory and ESG reporting for the supply chain, and conduct annual water risk assessments for water-intensive suppliers.
- You prepare insightful reports, analyses, and presentations for management, translate complex climate and ESG topics into clear messages, and provide robust decision-making support for the ongoing transformation of the supply chain.
- You have a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks related to environment, climate, and sustainability.
- You bring strong analytical and conceptual skills and apply a structured, data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Your advanced Excel skills enable you to manage, analyze, and validate large data sets for environmental performance tracking, KPIs, and sustainability reporting.
- You work with a high level of accuracy, pay strong attention to detail, and are able to translate complex regulatory and technical topics into clear, actionable insights.
- First and foremost, you are an engaged team player who takes ownership for outcomes and enjoys working cross-functionally in a complex organization.
- You communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally; you are fluent in English (written and spoken), German is an advantage.
