Job Description
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- ESG Reporting and Data Management: Manage ESG data from manufacturing operations and support timely, accurate reporting aligned with sustainability frameworks.
- Annual Integrated Report Preparation: Support the team in compiling and organizing data and information for the company’s annual integrated report in line with regulations and global accepted standards.
- Sustainability Committee Meetings: Support in organizing sustainability committee meetings and reporting progress across manufacturing sustainability and CSR initiatives.
- Employee Engagement Activities: Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to embed sustainability practices across manufacturing units.
- Capacity building: Drive ESG knowledge enhancement among department heads and teams through structured learning sessions and activity planning. Develop and manage a calendar of capacity-building initiatives to foster ESG integration across operations.
- Stakeholder management: Manage cross-functional collaboration for effective data collection and response to investor queries. Drive team engagement with clearly defined outcomes, support audit readiness, and coordinate interactions with internal and external audit teams.
- Manufacturing Unit Engagement and Operational Alignment: Participate in the operational meetings for manufacturing sites (Jaipur/Dholera) to ensure alignment with ESG and CSR objectives.
- CSR Strategy and Compliance: Lead documentation and MIS processes to ensure effective tracking, reporting, and stakeholder engagement across CSR initiatives.
- Associations with NGOs: Facilitate strategic collaboration with NGO partners, ensuring effective data exchange and impact tracking. Lead annual in-house CSR initiatives and oversee volunteer engagement across manufacturing units to drive meaningful community involvement.
- Program Planning and Execution: Strategically design and implement approved community-level initiatives, ensuring effective branding, stakeholder engagement through roadshows, and seamless on-ground collaboration. Monitor, document, and report all field activities to ensure transparency and impact measurement
- Travel: The role also entails travel to other sites as and when required; frequency on a minimum monthly basis for our sites and CSR sites including but not limited to Jaisalmer, Barmer and Bikaner.
Essential Criteria
- Bachelors/Masters in Environment/ Sustainability/ Climate Change/ ESG/ related fields from top institutions.
- 5-6 years of experience in sustainability/ ESG domain at manufacturing plants or operational sites.
- Candidate should be proficient with sustainability reporting standards (such as GRI, TCFD, SASB, IR, WEF-IBC). Prior knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Green Manufacturing certifications (Green Co, IGBC, GRIHA, LEED) and manufacturing operations will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent communication, data analysis and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and familiarity with GHG accounting principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for report preparation and employee engagement activities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Candidates with Bachelors in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical Engineering will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of CSR laws and regulations
