Solar Panel Installer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Solar Panel Installer to join our growing team in Central and South Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting residential solar systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, comfort working on rooftops in Florida’s climate, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Install solar PV systems on residential rooftops and ground-mount structures.
Measure, cut, and assemble solar racking components and mounting hardware.
Wire solar panels, inverters, and other electrical components following company standards.
Troubleshoot system issues and perform maintenance or repairs as needed.
Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal codes. Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and customers.
Document installation progress and complete required reports or checklists.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in solar installation, roofing, electrical, or construction trades.
Ability to work safely on steep or high roofs in Florida heat and humidity.
Basic understanding of hand tools, power tools, and construction practices.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors for extended periods.
Valid Florida driver’s license with clean driving record.
Field-based position involving frequent outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
Must be comfortable working at heights and in attic spaces.
Typical schedule: Monday–Friday; weekend work may be required based on project needs.
