We're looking for a business-centric professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and helping grow our customer base. This role combines customer engagement, business development, and market growth initiatives to strengthen our brand presence and generate new business opportunities.
You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to increase awareness of our brand and services, create meaningful customer interactions, and support initiatives that drive long-term business growth.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people, thinking strategically, and using data and market insights to influence business decisions.
This is a full-time, onsite position out of our downtown Vancouver office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers through proactive outreach and engagement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to expand market presence and generate qualified business leads.
- Plan and coordinate customer engagement activities, networking opportunities, webinars, community events, and other initiatives that strengthen brand visibility.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop messaging and customer communications that support business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Support lead generation campaigns through digital social media channels, referrals, and targeted outreach.
- Track customer engagement metrics and campaign performance to recommend improvements and optimize results.
- Assist with the development of presentations, business materials, and promotional content that support customer acquisition and retention.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure a consistent customer experience.
- Contribute ideas that improve customer engagement, strengthen brand awareness, and support overall business growth.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Completion of an Undergraduate Degree or higher.
- 5+ years experience in business development, customer engagement, or a marketing related role.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities for growth.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable working collaboratively across teams while also taking initiative independently.
- Experience using CRM platforms or customer engagement tools is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with digital marketing, social media, events, or lead generation strategies is an asset.
