We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer to join our team in a full-time role located in Forney, TX. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the test and validation of energy storage solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in installation and commissioning of all test equipment.
  2. Assist system integration activities between the lab equipment and test articles.
  3. Prepare test plans and run tests for individual equipment as well as for complete systems.
  4. Assist in data analysis and data processing for all test beds.
  5. Review data with internal team members.
  6. Support test cell instrumentation activity.
  7. Support efficient issue/risk identification, communication, tracking, and resolution.
  8. Have a hands-on approach to problem solving for component, sub-system, and system level.
  9. Drive issue resolution through failure mode resolution processes.

Qualifications:

  1. Expertise in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Power Conversion Systems (PCS), Energy Management Systems (EMS) and grid integration.
  2. 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in the energy storage or power systems industry.
  3. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  5. Billigual in Chinese and English, capable of serving as a bridge for information gathering and communication between China and Global teams.
