Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, this role offers the opportunity to support complex and impactful energy infrastructure projects, including HVDC systems that enable large-scale renewable integration. As a Project Planning Specialist, you will play a key role during tendering and early execution phases, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop reliable, integrated schedules that support confident decision-making and successful project delivery. This is a great opportunity to deepen planning expertise, gain exposure to large-scale EPC environments, and contribute to projects that shape how energy moves across regions and communities.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Develop tender and early-phase project schedules using Primavera P6
  • Analyze durations, logic, critical paths, and schedule risks
  • Convert tender schedules into execution-ready baselines
  • Integrate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and construction activities
  • Track progress and identify schedule deviations and trends
  • Prepare schedule narratives and planning documentation
  • Collaborate with project, engineering, and procurement teams
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of planning standards and tools

Your Background

  • 35 years of experience in project planning or scheduling
  • Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and logic-driven scheduling
  • Experience supporting tender, bid, or proposal schedules
  • Understanding of WBS/CBS structures and critical path methodology
  • Ability to interpret technical scope and contract requirements
  • Professional proficiency in English; French language skills are an asset
