The Opportunity As our Account Director, you’ll be the trusted advisor and strategic partner for key accounts, driving growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term value. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, you’ll collaborate with senior executives, leverage cutting-edge technology, and mobilize resources across our global business.
Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for strategic accounts.
Develop and execute account growth strategies to maximize share of customer spend.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior client executives.
Drive order growth and achieve or exceed sales targets.
Resolve complex customer issues and ensure seamless collaboration.
Align internal resources and business units to meet client needs.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical (engineering) or business-related discipline required.
~12+ years of account management experience preferred.
~5+ years of experience working with data center or hyperscale clients.
~ Demonstrated experience in sales, relationship building, and problem resolution.
~ Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
