Overview

We are seeking a Project Engineer to support the development, design, construction, and execution of utility‐scale wind generation projects . This role provides on‐site engineering expertise and plays a key part in ensuring project delivery aligns with technical specifications, quality standards, and schedule expectations.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with EPC processes , strong technical problem‐solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with contractors and cross‐functional project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform design reviews to ensure alignment with project requirements, owner specifications, and applicable standards
  • Manage EPC submittal, transmittal, and RFI processes
  • Provide on‐site engineering support during construction and commissioning activities
  • Support testing, system verification, and project closeout activities
  • Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues
  • Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality, safety, and compliance standards
  • Monitor construction progress and provide technical input to support project execution
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Identify risks or issues and proactively recommend solutions

Required Qualifications

  • Experience supporting utility‐scale renewable energy projects (wind preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of EPC processes , including submittals, RFIs, and document control
  • Experience performing engineering design reviews and ensuring compliance with standards
  • Ability to support construction, commissioning, and testing activities on site
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem‐solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a field‐based, project environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with wind generation projects or similar utility‐scale infrastructure
  • Background in engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, or civil
  • Experience working with contractors and multi‐disciplinary project teams
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for renewable energy projects
