Production Associate I – Assembly

Driving energy transformation is critical to reducing climate change. To limit climate risks, it is necessary to reduce the amount of CO2 released into the atmosphere.

Help us drive the energy transformation on a production basis, performing mechanical assembly work in our safety and quality-focused manufacturing environment. The right candidate will assemble systems according to engineering specifications through the utilization of hand tools and portable power tools.

Hexagon Agility is a leading global provider of clean fuel solutions in the transport sector. Our technology enables it hard to decarbonize segments – such as trucks and buses – to move from diesel to cleaner fuel alternatives.

We are looking for an ambitious and driven team member that wants to work closely with our local operations team to meet customer demand.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow safety protocols and to work safely
  • Read and follow the daily production schedule
  • Navigate a computer to find and input applicable production information
  • Adhere to Shop Order, BOM, and Engineering Drawing specifications for each order
  • Fill out a production check sheet accurately
  • Maintain 5S in the area daily
  • Assistin other areas when requested
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Work with a trainer to learn the necessary skills for the job as defined
  • Once trained,demonstratethat you can perform the job safely, without quality defects, and in an efficient manner without support from the trainer
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Candidates should have 2 years related mechanical assembly experience preferably in an automotive or aerospace environment; or carpentry experience
  • Must understand or be able to learn fundamentals of fastening systems, torque, measurements tools and other assembly techniques
  • Comfortable with hand and power tools
  • Must know how to use different tools and equipment to assemble fuel systems according to required specifications in an area of a production line

Physical Demands:

  • This role will require workingnearother team members while performing mechanical tasks and using a variety of hand tools. The employee may need to climb step laddersfrequentlyandoperatea range of equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • The employee mustfrequentlylift and/or move up to 50lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depthperceptionand Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employeeis regularly required tostand. The employee isfrequentlyrequired to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel;reach withhands and arms and talk or hear. The employeeis occasionally required tosit.
  • The role could includeallthe following:
  • Working on an elevated surface
  • Working from the top platform of rolling stairs (locked into place)
  • Standing on your feet in one location for an extendedperiod of time
