Energy Efficiency Specialist (Hybrid)
Our client is seeking an experienced Energy Efficiency Specialist to support multifamily energy efficiency programs and projects. This role is responsible for overseeing project scope, schedule, budget, vendor coordination, customer relationships, and quality assurance activities while ensuring compliance with program requirements and regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management, analytical, communication, and customer service skills, along with experience supporting energy efficiency, construction, or utility-related programs. Provide oversight of multifamily energy efficiency projects including scope, schedule, budget, and compliance requirements Ensure projects meet all program guidelines, cost-effectiveness requirements, and operational procedures Develop and maintain processes for implementing energy efficiency projects and programs Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, customers, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project execution Review vendor deliverables, monitor vendor performance, and process vendor invoices Manage customer relationships and provide a high level of customer service throughout the project lifecycle Perform and oversee project and program QA/QC activities Conduct project site visits and inspections as required Analyze project data, track project performance, and prepare management reports and forecasts Support the implementation of energy conservation measures including HVAC, lighting, motors, and energy management systems Customize customer project proposals to maximize incentives and energy savings opportunities Ensure compliance with safety protocols, business controls, and program standards Assist with special projects and ad hoc assignments as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree required plus 5 years of experience in energy efficiency programs, construction, or related field In lieu of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience required Knowledge of energy efficiency measures, implementation practices, and cost structures Experience processing milestone-based construction payments and forecasting financial spend Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Strong attention to detail and commitment to process improvement Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Ability to travel throughout the service territory for customer meetings, inspections, and contractor management Preferred Qualifications Vendor management experience Invoice processing and invoicing experience Experience working with utility, construction, or energy efficiency incentive programs Benefits: Health Insurance Sick time 401k Pay Range: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications) By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from HEPCO, Inc and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
