Principal Electrical Engineer - Solar (Boston)

As Principal Electrical Engineer, you will act as the electrical subject matter expert on a growing team, responsible for electrical matters arising in the development of solar projects. This includes design and potential troubleshooting while providing support to other departments including development, construction and asset management. This is a crucial role that requires a solutionsdriven mindset someone who can help the people around them get to yes rather than just a no.

Key Requirements

Bachelors/Masters in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 7 years of electrical engineering experience delivering power generation or large capital projects
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
Creative mindset able to drive project progress with a positive outlook, assess options and execute solutions
Strong design capabilities including proficiency with tools such as AutoCAD, PVSyst and Helioscope
Power generation experience preferred, but depth of electrical experience is prioritized, especially from a top MEP firm

Base Pay Range

$160,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr
