Project Assistant (f/m/d) for Green Deal Ukraine

The Green Deal Ukraine (GDU) project supports Ukraine’s energy and climate transition. It advances EU integration, provides expertise, and helps close reform gaps by engaging government institutions, policymakers, the private sector, and society. Based on joint analyses, effective and efficient pathways toward a sustainable future are developed while minimizing risks and negative impacts on the environment and society. Researchers from Germany, Poland, and Ukraine collaborate closely across the project’s locations in Berlin, Warsaw, and Kyiv. To support our events and project operations, we are seeking a Project Assistant (80% position, spread over at least four days per week) based in Adlershof. You can expect an international, collaborative work environment with diverse insights into our work.


Your Tasks
  • You support all project-related processes at GDU.
  • You coordinate project-related internal and external appointments, including the preparation, implementation, and follow-up of events.
  • You are responsible for the distribution of mail, filing of internal processes, and maintenance of the internet pages.
  • You support the employees of the project working from Berlin in the planning, booking, and accounting of business trips.
  • You handle internal administrative procedures.
  • You support budget control, ordering and budget planning.
  • You communicate with our internal and external business partners and look after our guests.

Your Profile
  • Successfully completed training as an office clerk or comparable training
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Language skills: English and Ukrainian at C1 level or higher, basic German knowledge (A2)
  • Independent way of working as well as service and customer orientation
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Very good PC skills

Contact

Fixed-term contract for 12 months. The salary is based on the Collective Agreement for the German Public Service (TVöD-Bund).
