Position Sr Solar Project Manager - EPC Location: Jackson, MI Job Id: 168 # of Openings: 1 Salary Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $130,000.00 USD, commensurate with experience. Annual Bonus Target: 5% of base salary, paid based on meeting organizational and individual targets. Purpose of Position Under the direction of the Director of Project Management, the Solar Project Manager (SPM) oversees Project Managers leading each construction site, supervises the Installation workforce, ensures schedules are met, maintains a safe and clean environment, provides leadership for Installation personnel, supports problem solving and continuous improvement, and supplies financial feedback to the Vice President of Operations. Major Responsibilities Lead by example in safety, quality, productivity, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction. Enforce company rules and regulations, taking disciplinary action when necessary and coordinating with Human Resources. Instruct and assist employees to install safely and productively while adhering to quality requirements. Maintain a clean, safe work area and job site. Coordinate all sub‐contractors, LV electrical, MV electrical, Surveyor, concrete, temporary labor, civil inspectors and Miss Dig. Assist in scheduling the workforce and installation projects. Ensure that employees are properly trained to safely install quality solar arrays. Ensure all necessary materials are on hand to install productively. Document all accidents and file required reports. Assist in hiring/staffing employees as required to meet the installation schedule. Evaluate new job packets for cost savings and process improvements. Ensure customer and internal quality standards are achieved and maintain documented evidence. Promote and maintain good customer and supplier relationships. Work with Purchasing to order material/supplies timely and maintain inventory levels. Initiate continuous improvement with installation team members. Key contact for customer or supplier issues while on a jobsite. Schedule and perform routine maintenance on company‐owned equipment. Ability to handle and organize multi‐task assignments accurately and timely. Valid driver's license (CDL) required. Full range of mobility in upper and lower body; able to work in various positions (stooping, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting) for extended periods. Professional appearance and excellent customer service. Educational and Certification Background Valid state driver's license required; CDL certification preferred. Bachelor's degree in construction management required; master's degree preferred. 10+ years of construction, installation, and quality systems experience required. Experience with utility‐scale projects of 5 MW or higher or behind‐the‐meter commercial/industrial projects preferred. AC and DC electrical installation experience preferred. NABCEP Certified Installation Professional required; training and fee assistance available. MIOSHA 30 Certification required; training assistance available. Work Environment Office Environment 50% of the time: busy office with frequent interruptions; multi‐tasking required. Day travel 50% of the time to support job sites and customers.
