Harvest Power is seeking a motivated In‐Home Solar Sales Closer to support residential solar growth across Queens, Nassau County, Long Island, and the greater New York City area. This is a field‐based, outside sales role centered on meeting homeowners face‐to‐face, understanding their energy needs, and guiding them confidently through the transition to solar.
This position is well‐suited for sales professionals who enjoy consultative selling, take ownership of their pipeline, and are motivated by performance‐based earnings.

Work 15–25 pre‐qualified in‐home appointments per month and take ownership of converting those appointments into signed solar contracts with minimal supervision
Conduct 2–4 discovery consultations per day to understand homeowner goals, energy usage, and property suitability
Present customized solar proposals, including system design, pricing, financing options, and projected electricity savings
Prospect approximately 2 hours daily through follow‐ups, calls, referrals, and pipeline outreach to maintain consistent deal flow
Maintain and manage an active sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM
Qualify homeowners for available financing options and clearly explain next steps
Ensure contracts and financing documents are completed accurately and on time
Share customer feedback and local market insights across Queens, Nassau County, and Long Island
Monitor projects post‐sale to support a smooth installation and positive customer experience
Continue developing product knowledge, sales skills, and closing effectiveness
Experience in outside sales, account executive, or in‐home consultative sales preferred (solar or home improvement experience is a plus)
~3+ years of sales experience, or a strong foundation paired with a demonstrated work ethic
~ Comfort presenting high‐value proposals, including financing discussions
~ Clear, professional communication skills in both face‐to‐face and phone interactions
~ Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
~ Comfortable using CRM tools (Salesforce) and standard productivity software
~ Interest in long‐term growth within a performance‐focused sales organization
Uncapped commission structure
~ Primary compensation is commission‐based, with earnings directly tied to performance
~ Base salary available, provided performance quota is consistently met and maintained
~ First‐year on‐target earnings of $150,000+
