Solar Installer/ Roofer

About the role: We are seeking a full time solar installer that has roofing/construction experience. You will be working as part of a team to install 4-6 projects per week throughout Long Island and the boroughs.

Responsibilities:

• Work under the direction of a foreman installing roof mounted solar photovoltaic systems
• Finding roof rafters
• Build racking system
• Basic electric wiring of PV arrays
• PVC bending and mounting

Qualifications and Skills:

• MUST have experience in roofing, carpentry, exterior home improvements, or general construction
• MUST be comfortable working on pitched roofs
• Knows proper usage of harnesses and other safety gear
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to ascend/descend a ladder and rooftop
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Driver License and reliable transportation is required- YOU ARE EXPECTED TO MEET ON THE JOBSITE EVERY MORNING

Pay based on skill
