PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Harmon Electric is seeking a motivated Residential Solar Installer. As an Installer, you will be primarily responsible for installation of solar panels, racking, conduit, and wire for residential solar projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Layout, assembly, and installation of solar array and mounting hardware
Pipe bending, wire pulling, running conduit
Assist with electrical wiring of energy products.
Prepare and clean up the job site.
Must be self-motivated and willing to learn new skills
Ability to remember and follow instructions
Demonstrated concern for safety and adherence to all company policies while promoting them to others
Self-motivated, team player, positive attitude, problem-solving skills, proven attendance record, and mechanical aptitude

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and have a complete and thorough knowledge of construction. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 1-3 years of Electrical Solar Installation experience
1-3 years of Solar Installation Auditing
Ability to safely handle and maintain bare hand and power tools used for installation
You must have your own basic set of hand and power tools
Must be comfortable climbing ladders or stairs and working on commercial rooftops in hot, cold, and inclement weather
Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
Valid Driver's License

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work 40 hours per week or more if required
Must be able to lift 75 lbs. regularly and push, pull, bend, stand, or kneel for extended periods.
May require repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers
May require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, or walking throughout the workday
