Our West Houston client is actively seeking an experienced Buyer with Turbine expertise to support procurement activities. Must have experience sourcing materials and components, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery to support production goals. Source and purchase mechanical, electrical, and turbine-related components to support manufacturing and operations Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, price, and delivery targets Monitor market trends and supplier performance to optimize cost and lead times Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to align purchasing decisions with product requirements Review purchase requisitions and issue POs in accordance with company policies Track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and maintain accurate records in procurement systems Ensure compliance with quality standards and corporate procurement policies Identify cost-saving opportunities and support inventory control initiatives Our client is a leader in microturbine solutions that drive energy efficiency and sustainability.
