POSITION OVERVIEW

We're seeking a highly dynamic and relationship-driven Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships to expand and elevate our presence across the digital infrastructure ecosystem. This role will serve as a key external face of the company — cultivating deep relationships with customers, partners, hyperscalers, utilities, vendors, financiers, developers, and ecosystem collaborators.

You will represent the company at major industry conferences, summits, and events, identifying opportunities to build alliances, pursue joint ventures, and strategically position our current and upcoming powered land campuses. As part of a fast-moving and entrepreneurial team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how we grow our national footprint and unlock new commercial opportunities.

This role is perfect for a leader who thrives in outward-facing environments, understands the data center and energy infrastructure landscape, and has the commercial instincts to turn conversations into partnerships. The employee may be required to perform other job-related duties as requested by management. All duties will be assigned in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a senior ambassador for the company, representing us at industry conferences, trade shows, customer meetings, panels, and events.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with hyperscale customers, cloud providers, operators, infrastructure partners, utilities, co-ops, OEMs, and land development partners.
  • Identify and pursue partnership opportunities, including joint ventures, land transactions, energy collaborations, and co-development initiatives.
  • Strategically position and "sell" current and upcoming data center sites, communicating value propositions clearly to customers and partners.
  • Develop a partnerships pipeline that supports long-range growth objectives, tracking opportunities from introduction through commercial engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (development, energy, strategy, finance, and legal) to align partnership discussions with project timelines and company goals.
  • Lead major external engagements, including exploratory conversations, negotiations, and structuring of partnership frameworks.
  • Conduct market intelligence and competitive research to identify key players, emerging opportunities, and shifting customer demand.
  • Craft strategic messaging, external collateral, and talking points for conferences and partner engagements.
  • Represent the company as a thought leader, staying visible and active across the digital infrastructure community.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 12+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, data center development, energy, telecom, infrastructure, or related sectors.
  • Deep understanding of the data center ecosystem, including hyperscalers, energy players, land developers, operators, and infrastructure partners.
  • Proven track record of building executive-level relationshipsand driving partnership or commercial outcomes.
  • Strong communication, presence, and public-facing skills — comfortable on stage, in meetings, and in high-stakes commercial conversations.
  • Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset — someone who spots opportunities early and moves quickly to capture them.
  • Experience evaluating or structuring joint ventures, strategic alliances, and commercial agreements.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and translate market feedback into actionable internal insights.
  • Willingness to travel 50–70%+, depending on the conference calendar and partnership needs.

Compensation: $210,000 to $250,000 salary

High level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment when handling executive communications.
