This opportunity is located in Seneca, SC. After training and an assessment period is completed, a hybrid schedule will be considered.
Job Summary:
As a Staffing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring organizations have the right talent in the right positions at the right time. You will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding candidates who meet the specific requirements of each role. Your expertise in selecting the right candidates and your ability to build strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers is essential in driving the success of our staffing efforts. This position will involve the combination of both recruiting and human resource functions to fully serve team members and clients. This role is in a family business with a family-friendly and informal work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute 5 to 10 requisitions a week, writing and posting job orders, sourcing and screening candidates, and managing candidates from position submission to candidate selection. Specifically:
· Talent Sourcing and Recruitment: Utilize various sourcing techniques including online sourcing, networking, referrals, and job postings to identify and attract top talent.
· Candidate Evaluation and Submission: Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and fit for specific roles. Optimize resumes for candidate submission.
· Interview Coordination: Coordinate and conduct interviews with candidates, ensuring a positive experience for all parties involved.
· Onboarding Support: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles and helping them integrate into the company culture.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, provide guidance on the recruitment process, and deliver qualified candidates in a timely manner.
Candidate Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with candidates to understand their career goals, preferences, and motivations, ensuring a personalized and positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
Employer Branding: Represent the company with online marketing (e.g., LinkedIn posts and blog articles) and recruitment activities to promote the GTTSi brand and attract top talent.
Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, recruitment activities, and hiring metrics, and provide regular reports to stakeholders to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or HR, preferably in a staffing agency or corporate environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including MS Word and MS Excel.
Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, including sourcing strategies, candidate assessment techniques, and interview methods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and collaborate effectively with hiring managers.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in using recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other HR tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) or Recruitment (e.g., AIRS, LinkedIn Recruiter).
Experience with employer branding initiatives and social media recruitment strategies.
Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
Working Conditions:
In office with hybrid schedule considered after training and assessment period.
This position may require occasional travel to meet employees and customers.
Flexible work hours may be necessary to accommodate candidate availability and meet deadlines.
