Process and Quality Control Intern (100%), 6-Months


As an Engineering Intern at GRZ Technologies, you will gain hands-on experience applying engineering principles to real industrial systems in the fields of hydrogen energy storage. You will be integrated into multidisciplinary engineering teams and contribute to design, analysis, testing, and optimisation tasks across ongoing product and prototype developments.

This role is ideal for a recent Master of Engineering graduate having knowledge of the hydrogen environment and eager to bridge academic knowledge with practical engineering challenges in a high-impact climate tech environment. You will have opportunities to work on advanced technologies — including metal hydride systems, solid-state hydrogen storage, hydrogen compressors and methanation reactors — and support the team working on solutions that enable decentralised renewable energy storage and energy system.


Required qualification :


  • Master of Engineering completed within the last 12 months (mechanical, materials, chemical, process, or related technical discipline).
  • Foundational understanding of engineering principles, mechanical behaviour of materials, and experimental methods.
  • Experience or academic exposure related to : 


  1. Component and material testing for hydrogen applications.
  2. Execution of low- to high-pressure hydrogen tests (up to 1000 bar).
  3. Testing of hydrogen-containing components and materials.
  4. Material compatibility tests involving hydrogen exposure.


Preferred qualifications :


  • Knowledge of engineering software (e.g., SolidWorks, Comsol, Python, simulation tools).
  • Strong analytical skills structured problem-solving ability, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Motivation to work in the field of hydrogen technologies, renewable energy, and advanced energy storage systems.
