Role Description The Carbon Project Manager – North America is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading and coordinating carbon-focused agricultural projects across the region. This role oversees the planning, execution, and monitoring of carbon initiatives, ensuring they meet timelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include managing project schedules and deliverables, expediting key activities and decisions, and coordinating with internal teams, growers, partners, and external stakeholders. The Carbon Project Manager will organize logistics related to field operations and data collection, support inspection and verification processes, and maintain accurate documentation for carbon credit methodologies and reporting. The role also involves identifying risks, optimizing project workflows, and providing clear, data-informed updates to leadership on project status and outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess skills in Expeditor and Expediting to drive timely completion of project milestones and critical tasks.
  • Candidates should possess strong Project Management capabilities, including planning, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and risk management.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Inspection to support quality assurance, data validation, and compliance with carbon project standards.
  • Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to coordinate field operations, data collection processes, and cross-regional activities.
  • Experience with carbon markets, agricultural sustainability, or environmental projects is highly beneficial.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills, with attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, collaborate across diverse teams, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, environmental science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications in project management are a plus.
