My client, Solar Power Midwest, is a PV Solar Systems installer, BESS and more energy solutions company. This includes residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural customers. They specialize in roof and ground-mounted energy-producing solar systems, providing turnkey solar services and complimentary design services, they ensure efficient and sustainable energy solutions for their clients.

Role Description

This can be either a part-time or full-time hybrid role for an Office Manager. The Office Manager will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing expense reports, and ensuring smooth office operations. Daily tasks include scheduling, communication management, administrative assistance, and coordinating with various departments to facilitate effective office operations.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to manage high call volume
  • 1+ years managing calendars and appointments
  • 1+ years managing bookkeeping for a growing business
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and with a high level of professionalism and ability to effectively manage competing priorities and complex projects
  • Desire to learn on the job, especially to learn about solar energy and sales tactics
  • High level of organization, and ability to organize others schedules and correspondence
  • Availability to come into the Naperville, IL office 3 days per week on average
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, BA preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design Commercial Presentations, using Energy Tool Base, Helioscope, and others software. Prior knowledge is helpful, but willingness to learn is required
  • Work with customers to provide financial solutions for their solar needs
  • Calendar management to schedule presentations for the president and salespeople
  • Take customer calls, discuss their financing options, answer questions about solar and schedule meetings
  • Make outbound calls to leads, schedule meetings with salespeople

Compensation

  • Total comp for this role is expected to be approximately $40-50k/year, with the opportunity to earn more with commissions and company profit sharing based on performance
