Position Overview

Grid Titans is seeking a Journeyman-level Electrician Installer to join our growing team. The Journeyman Installer performs safe, code-compliant electrical installations on solar, battery, generator, and related energy systems while also supporting customer communications and project documentation through our CRM. This role blends hands-on technical expertise with professionalism in client interactions, ensuring every project is completed efficiently, accurately, and with a great customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install electrical systems including Main Service panels, solar, inverter, backup battery systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, single-line diagrams, and technical schematics.
  • Perform conduit bending, wire pulling, terminations, and system interconnections.
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC, CEC, OSHA, and AHJ requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems as needed.
  • Use company CRM to update project notes, track job progress, and log customer communications.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding scheduling, site conditions, and job status.
  • Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and apprentices to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Mentor and guide apprentices on safety and technical practices.
  • Maintain jobsite documentation including safety logs, time sheets, and daily reports.

Qualifications

  • Active California Journeyman Electrician Certification (required).
  • Minimum of 4 years of electrical field experience (solar, battery storage, or generator installation experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, CEC, and OSHA safety standards.
  • Proficiency with electrical tools, diagnostic equipment, and installation techniques.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (preferred: FieldPulse, ServiceTitan, or similar).
  • Ability to handle customer communications with professionalism and clarity.
  • Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in outdoor conditions.
  • Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Compensation

  • Salary Range (California 2025 Standard): $85,000 – $105,000 annually
  • Overtime and travel opportunities as projects require
  • Compensation for prevailing wage projects in accordance with DIR classifications
