Sustainability Business Specialist
Greenvironment is climate-tech company focused on smart water, energy and environmental management using IoT, automation, and AI. We enable real-time monitoring, compliance (ESG/CPCB/SPCB), and sustainability optimization for buildings across India and UAE.
Role Location: This role is based in our Bengaluru, with travel to client sites across India and abroad as required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Sales
• Drive lead generation, conduct site assessments, prepare proposals, and close deals.
• Achieve sales targets across solutions such as water, energy & environmental management.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline (inbound & outbound).
2. Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Ensure timely collections and high client satisfaction.
3. Project Coordination & Execution Support
• Coordinate with internal teams (Projects, Product, Finance) for smooth execution.
• Track deliverables, timelines, and ensure quality outcomes.
• Use advanced dashboard and tools for tracking and reporting.
4. Market Research & Opportunity Identification
• Identify new opportunities, partnerships, and key accounts.
• Conduct market research and support feasibility studies and ROI-driven proposals.
5. Compliance & Technical Alignment
• Understand regulatory requirements (CPCB/SPCB, ESG, OCEMS).
• Support clients in achieving compliance through appropriate solutions.
6. Sustainability Advocacy
• Educate clients on sustainability, water efficiency, and digital solutions.
• Promote data-driven decision-making using IoT and AI-based platforms.
7. Reporting & Performance Tracking
• Maintain sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and MIS reporting.
• Track KPIs such as revenue, conversion rate, and client retention.
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Environmental / Mechanical / Civil / Electrical) or related field
• Experience in Sales / Marketing is preferred
• 1–5 years of experience in B2B sales, infrastructure, or IoT solutions
• Basic understanding of water/wastewater systems or environmental solutions is an advantage
