Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Energy Auditor located in Noida. We are seeking an experienced and BEE Certified Energy Auditor/Energy Manager with a strong background in industrial energy efficiency and hands-on experience in conducting detailed energy audits across manufacturing facilities. The role will focus on identifying, evaluating, and implementing energy-saving opportunities in industrial systems, while also supporting integrated solutions such as solar PV and storage.


Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed and investment-grade energy audits in industrial facilities, including:

  • Motors and drives (VFDs, load optimisation)
  • Compressed air systems
  • Boilers, steam systems, and thermic fluid systems
  • HVAC and refrigeration
  • Electrical distribution systems

Perform field measurements and diagnostics, including:

  • Load analysis, harmonics, power quality
  • Equipment efficiency testing
  • System-level performance assessment

Identify and evaluate Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs):

  • Process optimisation
  • Waste heat recovery
  • System redesign and retrofits

Conduct techno-commercial analysis:

  • Savings estimation (kWh, demand reduction)
  • CAPEX estimation
  • Payback, IRR, and lifecycle costing

Develop detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations and implementation plans

Support implementation and monitoring of selected measures, including coordination with vendors and site teams

Evaluate opportunities for onsite renewable integration, including:

  • Solar PV (rooftop / ground-mounted)
  • Hybrid systems (solar + storage, where applicable)


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • 4–8 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge and expertise in energy efficiency and energy management principles
  • Experience in preparing energy audit reports and providing actionable recommendations
  • Proven experience in conducting industrial energy audits across sectors such as FMCG, Textiles, Leather, Steel etc.
