Role Overview

GreenStitch is looking for an ESG Product Associate to support organizations in measuring, managing, and reducing their environmental impact. In this role, you will work closely with customers to deliver carbon accounting, Scope 3 assessments, Product Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), and sustainability reporting initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in GHG accounting, sustainability frameworks, and environmental data analysis, coupled with the ability to translate complex sustainability data into actionable insights. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of sustainability, technology, and the fashion & textile industry, helping global brands accelerate their decarbonization journey.

Key Responsibilities

Carbon Accounting & GHG Reporting

• Conduct organizational GHG accounting across Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions in accordance with the GHG Protocol.

• Support customers in data collection, emissions calculations, emissions factor mapping, and inventory management.

• Perform carbon footprint assessments and identify opportunities to reduce emissions.

• Ensure audit-ready documentation and data quality for sustainability reporting initiatives.

Scope 3 & Supply Chain Sustainability

• Lead Scope 3 emissions calculations across purchased goods and services, transportation, logistics, business travel, waste, and other relevant categories.

• Work closely with customer sustainability and supply chain teams to collect, validate, and analyze emissions data.

• Support supplier engagement and value chain decarbonization initiatives.

Product Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

• Conduct Product Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) calculations.

• Analyze environmental impacts across raw materials, manufacturing, transportation, usage, and end-of-life stages.

• Develop product-level sustainability insights and recommendations for customers.

• Support environmental footprint modeling for textile and apparel products.

Customer Engagement

• Work directly with customer sustainability, ESG, sourcing, and operations teams.

• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and solution onboarding activities.

• Act as a trusted sustainability advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in ESG, Sustainability, Carbon Accounting, Climate Consulting, or Environmental Analytics.

• Strong understanding of GHG Protocol and corporate carbon accounting.

• Hands-on experience with Scope 3 emissions calculations.

• Experience conducting Product LCAs and Product Carbon Footprint assessments.

• Strong analytical and data management skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Climate Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related fields.

Good to Have

• Experience in the fashion, textile, retail, consumer goods, or manufacturing sectors.

• Familiarity with ESG frameworks such as GRI, BRSR, CDP, CSRD, SASB, or TCFD.

• Experience with LCA tools such as OpenLCA, SimaPro, GaBi, or equivalent.

• Knowledge of emission factor databases and sustainability data platforms.

• Certifications in GHG Accounting, LCA, ESG, or Sustainability reporting.
