VP, Product Management
Position Objectives:
The Vice President, Product Management is responsible for setting and delivering the product vision, strategy and roadmap for GreenSketch and EnergyBrain. GreenSketch is the group's free solar design, quoting and procurement platform for installers. EnergyBrain is the AI-based consumer lead generation product that connects homeowners with installers.
The role requires a strong technical product management background from a software company. The Vice President will lead the product management team, work as a close partner to the Engineering Lead, and turn customer needs and business goals into a clear, well-sequenced roadmap.
Success is measured by growth in active installers, with a focus on small installers, by how much each installer uses the platform, including hardware orders and rebate settlement, and by the number and quality of consumer leads EnergyBrain delivers to installers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Set the product vision and multi-year strategy for GreenSketch and EnergyBrain, and turn it into a clear quarterly roadmap.
• Lead, coach and grow the product management team, including global and regional product managers.
• Own prioritisation across both products, using active installer growth as the main measure of impact, and make trade-offs visible whenever new work enters the plan.
• Work day to day with the Engineering Lead to agree scope, sequence and delivery capacity, and help build engineering depth as the platform grows.
• Work with the Chief Information Officer on platform architecture, data, shared services and technical standards.
• Guide the build of shared platform foundations, including a single customer identity, a common product and pricing master, and reliable data connections between GreenSketch and other group systems such as GreenDeal and OSW ordering.
• Lead product strategy for EnergyBrain, including the homeowner experience, lead quality, and how leads are matched and passed to installers using GreenSketch.
• Shape how AI is used across both products, including bill reading, design automation and consumer lead generation.
• Define the group position on APIs and integrations with installer CRM tools and partner systems.
• Run a product process that keeps live fault fixes and data quality work separate from new feature work, so urgent fixes are never delayed by the roadmap.
• Lead customer discovery with installers of all sizes and with homeowners, with a focus on small installers, and make sure decisions are based on real user needs and usage data.
• Support market launches and localisation across Australia, Europe, the UK, Latin America and Asia, balancing one global product with local rules, standards and languages.
• Own release management, including release notes, installer knowledge centre content and internal staff training for each release.
• Report product performance to the CEO and group leadership using clear metrics and dashboards.
• Track competitors, technology trends and regulation relevant to solar, storage, design software and consumer lead generation.
Accountabilities
• Deliver an agreed product roadmap that is sequenced against real engineering capacity, with trade-offs made visible and approved by leadership.
• Grow monthly active installers and proposals per active installer across all markets, with a focus on small installers.
• Increase platform attach rates, including hardware orders and rebate settlement.
• Deliver shared platform foundations (customer identity, product master and system sync) on time and to a standard that supports future products.
• Grow the volume and quality of EnergyBrain consumer leads, and the rate at which those leads turn into signed jobs for installers.
• Keep live product quality high, with critical faults found, fixed and communicated to installers quickly.
• Build a high-performing product team with clear roles, strong hiring and a succession plan for key roles.
