JOB DESCRIPTION
A Direct Dialogue Campaigner Fundraising. The Team Leader is a representative of the Greenpeace Malaysia Fundraising team who, upon an express request by Greenpeace, accepts additional responsibility and compensation to manage teams of seven staff for a specific amount of time. The Team Leader maintains and leads a well-trained and motivated team of Greenpeace Fundraising Team by being a top professional fundraiser, and monitoring the team.

; Requirements: - RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Constantly approach prospective donors (Donor means: “Above age of 24 and donation is at least RM58 per month”) per 6 working days.
  • The incumbent will report to the Fundraising Manager and will proactively contribute to his/her team recruitment by referring new candidates to the DDC Sr. Admin and Recruitment whenever the opportunity arises. The DDC team will ideally consist of 4 other Direct Dialogue Campaigners (DDCs) unless the organization requests more.
  • The Team Leader must ensure that all team members have adequate individual support, training, and resources to achieve 1000 donors in 2023 as per the organization's ODP.
  • The Team Leader is expected to achieve a minimum of 20 Donors/Month as a result of their own personal performance, and all other sign-ups must be achieved by their respective DDCs.
MANAGEMENT, TRAINING, AND COACHING

  • Conduct a one-on-one discussion with team members on a weekly basis and as necessary to ensure they are feeling comfortable and supported in their respective roles.
  • Conduct regular training and coaching sessions with team members in the office or via Zoom.
  • Set a daily target for the respective teams and each DDCs individually.
  • Brief each DDC in the team daily, rewarding them for their good work, and address any areas of concern in the team to the Fundraising Manager.
  • Work closely with the Fundraising Manager and report any team problems or management issues.
  • Support and assist the management in delivering warnings and terminations for non-performing DDCs.
MOTIVATION

  • Keep abreast and relay campaign information, and other details to team members.
  • Ensure that Greenpeace standards and job expectations are met at all times.
  • Maintain team motivation.
  • Administration and Communication
  • All leads; cold, warm, in-house, and external to be segregated accordingly to each DDC and ensure that the monthly team target is achieved.
  • Responsible to ensure that the team has adequate equipment to work on; such as iPads, pitch materials, etc.
WORKING HOURS

  • The Team Leader works eight hours/day canvassing per week and attends the Leaders and other related meetings as and when required. Performs the daily training for the Direct Dialogue Campaigner online/offline.
