Greenpeace East Asia is recruiting a Campaigner (based in Hong Kong) to develop, plan, implement and coordinate creative campaigns, including innovative use of online tools and strategies, to drive sustainable development and create positive change in Hong Kong.


Major work responsibilities:

  • Providing campaign expertise with respect to a specialized campaign issue
  • Stay abreast of current and emerging developments related to the campaign issue
  • Developing and implementing effective and integrated campaign plans, strategies and tactics related to the overall vision and goals of Greenpeace
  • Lead project teams to deliver high-quality project outputs in line with the campaign plans
  • Building and maintaining relationships with relevant business associations, other campaign organization, and government/inter-governmental bodies
  • Answering media inquiries as a campaign spokesperson


Requirements:

  • 1 year of related experience is preferred, Fresh graduate will be considered
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, Chinese and Cantonese
  • Strong strategic, research and analytical abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and to meet tight deadlines, including a flexible mindset regarding working hours
  • Ability to work as a part of a team
  • Commitment to the mission, principles and values of Greenpeace
