Greenpeace is looking for a senior fundraiser to join the team as Deputy Fundraising Director. A key member of the fundraising leadership team, you will hold responsibility for leading our Philanthropy programmes, consisting of Major Gifts, Middle Giving and Legacy Giving. In addition the role will be responsible for ensuring the development and delivery of our retention and donor development strategies for all fundraising. Working closely with the Fundraising Director and fundraising management team you will ensure we are providing the best supporter experience and maximising retention and donor lifetime value for both regular and one-off donors.

As the leader of the Philanthropy team you will have a proven track record of income growth. Well developed skills in digital marketing and managing digitally integrated campaigns is a must. Data and insights drive our decision making and we take a donor centric approach to our work. As a senior leader within the fundraising team you will also support the Fundraising Director in running the team, reporting, budgeting, and you will facilitate effective communication between fundraising and the wider organisation.

Greenpeace is completely funded by generous individual donors and a small number of trusts and foundations, and takes no funding from governments or corporations. The Deputy Fundraising Director will understand the individual giving fundraising market in New Zealand and will have extensive experience working in individual major donor fundraising.

This is a full time permanent position

You must hold an existing New Zealand work permit to be considered for this role.

What we can offer you:

Our salaries are competitive within the not for profit sector. The range for this role is $95 ,000 - $100,000.

Hybrid work arrangement, Tuesday's and Thursday's in the Mt Eden office.
