About the position:
To lead the development and implementation of innovative creative interventions and impactful storytelling that strengthen Greenpeace's campaigns across South Asia. The role is responsible for integrating creative communications into campaign strategies, raising public awareness and engagement, and building a strong network of artists, designers, creative agencies, activists, volunteers, and supporters to advance campaign objectives. Working closely with regional campaign teams, the role also contributes to the planning and delivery of high-impact campaigns, fosters strategic partnerships within the creative sector, and supports the continuous development of the organisation's creative and operational capabilities to achieve programme goals.
In this role you will:
In this role you will lead and implement operational strategies across South Asia that support campaign objectives to influence public, government, and corporate behaviour for maximum impact. You will develop and deliver innovative creative campaign interventions that combine storytelling, artistry, and strategic thinking to engage audiences through interactive and visually compelling formats, including non-traditional media such as installations, performances, and street-based activations.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to plan and execute creative and field-based operations, ensuring effective logistical coordination for campaigns, tours, and related activities. The role also involves building strong networks within the creative community across South Asia to expand campaign reach and impact.
In addition, you will lead creative processes, workshops, and experimentation with new tools and approaches, support and engage activist and volunteer networks, and ensure effective planning, budgeting, and risk management. You will also represent the organisation publicly and contribute to international coordination and operational planning.
Whom we’re looking for:
At least 3 years of experience in campaign work, particularly climate-related and creative campaigning, with a strong understanding of planning and delivering creative interventions. Proven ability to innovate in campaign strategy and operations, supported by expertise in at least two creative or technical areas such as communication, design, photography, videography, or technology.
Strong experience in managing logistics, complex events, and partnerships, with awareness of health, safety, and legal considerations. Established networks within the creative community are highly desirable.
The role requires strong collaboration, leadership, and motivational skills, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and inspire activists and volunteers, alongside a commitment to organisational values.
