Role Overview

GREENIPATH is seeking a highly experienced Head of Recruitment to build and lead the company’s global talent acquisition function.

This is a strategic, high-impact leadership role, responsible for designing the recruitment architecture, scaling international hiring, and ensuring GREENIPATH attracts top-tier professionals across all departments, geographies, and specializations.

You will work directly with founders and senior leadership and will play a mission-critical role in shaping the company’s global growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Talent Acquisition Leadership

  • Build GREENIPATH’s global recruitment function from the ground up across all regions.
  • Establish a long-term hiring strategy aligned with the company’s expansion and project pipeline.
  • Drive workforce planning, talent forecasting, and hiring prioritization.
  • Shape and communicate GREENIPATH’s Employer Value Proposition within the VCM/EAC sector.

2. End-to-End Talent Acquisition

Lead the hiring for key positions across:

Trading & Sales

  • Carbon Trading
  • EAC Trading
  • Key Account Management

Climate & ESG Consulting

  • Carbon Advisors
  • Sustainability Specialists

Origination & Project Development

  • Technical developers
  • Certification specialists
  • Carbon methodology experts

Investment & Finance

  • Climate investment analysts
  • Structured finance professionals
  • Portfolio managers

Operational & Executive Roles

  • Compliance, Risk, Legal, Marketing
  • Senior management & executive leadership

Responsibilities include sourcing, interviewing, assessments, technical screening, and final recommendations.

3. Stakeholder Management & Internal Partnership

  • Collaborate with founders, trading desk heads, origination, consulting, and investment teams to understand talent needs.
  • Provide leadership with data-driven insights on compensation, talent availability, and competitive trends.
  • Ensure recruitment decisions align with GREENIPATH’s culture, performance, and long-term business goals.

4. Team Building & Process Ownership

  • Build and lead the internal recruitment team as the company scales.
  • Design structured interview processes and competency frameworks.
  • Implement ATS systems, hiring analytics, and KPI frameworks.
  • Report regularly to leadership on hiring numbers, pipeline health, and quality-of-hire metrics.

5. Employer Branding & Market Positioning

  • Elevate GREENIPATH’s visibility as a top employer in the VCM/EAC and ESG sector.
  • Develop recruitment marketing content, candidate communications, and university/industry partnerships.
  • Represent the company at climate-tech events, professional forums, and talent networks.

6. Onboarding & Retention Support

  • Build a world-class onboarding system tailored for traders, consultants, technical staff, and regional teams.
  • Ensure seamless integration of international hires.
  • Support early retention through feedback cycles and culture alignment programs.

Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 5+ years of international recruitment experience — preferably in VCM, commodities, trading, finance, sustainability, ESG, or tech.
  • Proven track record in building or scaling recruitment functions.
  • Strong experience with executive search and hiring for senior technical roles.
