VP of EPC & Project Delivery
The VP of EPC & Project Delivery will lead end-to-end execution of a growing portfolio of utility-scale solar and BESS projects across the US, covering pre-construction, EPC delivery, commissioning, and initial operations. This is a critical role in building the company's execution platform as it transitions into a long-term IPP business.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Execution & EPC Management
- Lead concurrent delivery of multiple utility-scale projects, owning performance across schedule, cost, quality, and safety
- Define EPC contracting strategy, oversee contractor selection and performance, and administer contracts including LDs, warranties, change orders, and claims
- Manage procurement of long-lead equipment (modules, transformers, BESS systems) aligned with project schedules and domestic content requirements
Technical & Commercial Oversight
- Oversee pre-construction readiness including engineering coordination, permitting, constructability review, and NTP preparation
- Lead execution of Solar+BESS hybrid projects, managing integration risks across controls, commissioning sequencing, and interconnection
- Own project budgets, cost forecasts, and contingency management; identify and mitigate supply chain, schedule, and interconnection risks
Platform & Team Building
- Build and lead a lean Project Delivery organization with robust execution standards, project controls, and reporting frameworks
- Oversee commissioning, COD execution, and initial operations stabilization including performance ramp-up, warranty tracking, and O&M handover
- Partner cross-functionally with Development, Engineering, Finance, and Interconnection teams; interface with utilities, ISOs, and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in utility-scale renewable energy project execution with a proven track record on 100MW+ solar and/or BESS projects
- Strong EPC contracting experience with deep knowledge of construction risk, cost control, and schedule management across multiple concurrent projects
- Experience in US power markets (ERCOT preferred); PV Solar+BESS hybrid delivery and IPP/developer environment experience strongly preferred
