Key Responsibilities:

  • Carbon Project Management:
  • Oversee project monitoring and ensure compliance with relevant methodologies and requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate project implementation efficiently.
  • Translate field-collected data and management practice changes into audit-ready carbon documentation,
  • Carbon feasibility assessments and methodology applicability reviews for new project geographies, crop systems, and practice bundles
  • Oversee and guide the team in monitoring on-site project activities to ensure compliance with approved methodologies and best practices.
  • Ensure effective Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) by reviewing field data, reports, and compliance documents for carbon credit issuance.
  • Track and manage project progress, ensuring timely submission of documents and reports to standard bodies and stakeholders.
  • Maintain project data systems required for carbon accounting, including farm-level activity data, monitoring reports, emission reduction calculations, and documentation
  • Liaise with third-party auditors to defend validation and verification and ensure timely registration and issuance.


  • Others:
  • Develop knowledge and contacts in the evolving compliance and voluntary markets and related governmental frameworks.
  • Liaise with project partners and stakeholders to support daily business operations
  • Support the preparation of proposals, bids, and investment concepts

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Forestry, environmental science or related fields with at least 2-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Telugu speaking fluency requirement is must.
  • 2-5 years in voluntary carbon markets, with demonstrated ownership of at least one PDD through registration.
  • Working knowledge of Verra (VCS), Gold Standard, and/or Isometric project cycles, validation and verification processes, and registry submission systems.
  • Hands-on experience applying AFOLU methodologies soil carbon (VM0042), or ARR (VM0047, AR-ACM0003) or rice methane (VM0051, Isometric Rice Methane Reduction), experience is required.
  • Strong technical writing in English: ability to produce audit-ready documents that pass VVB review with limited rework.
  • Strong data handling in Excel; comfort with structured datasets, methodology equations, and uncertainty deductions.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a hands-on proactive attitude.
