Groundskeeping Maintenance & Jobsite Assistant

Green Team Lighting, LLC., located in Canastota, NY, is in search of a Grounds Maintenance & Jobsite Assistant, for immediate hire.

Employment Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Grounds maintenance (mowing, weeding, shoveling, pressure washing, tree trimming, etc.).

• Parts & Equipment pick-up/delivery (Driver’s License required).

• Assist in shipping & receiving products/orders - follow procedures to ensure products are inspected for damage and reported if so; ensure products are stocked accordingly.

• Regular warehouse, tool, equipment and vehicle maintenance – including (but not limited to) cleaning, organizing, trash & recycling, dusting, mopping, dishes, etc. as needed.

• Assist on-site with installation prep/cleanup.

• Assist Operations Coordinator and Lighting & Controls Project Manager with daily tasks as needed. This can and will range in variety from day to day.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in groundskeeping maintenance or other related fields

• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment

• Ability to handle physical workload

• Deadline and detail-oriented

• Ability to use ladders of various heights, as well as assist technicians using elevated platform lifts

• Safety Certifications / Trainings preferred, but not required

Wage & Benefits:

• Hourly wage determined based on experience.

• Training wage rate re-evaluated after 6-12 months, at employers’ discretion based on performance.

• Raises and hourly rate evaluated annually for all employees.

• Health Insurance through Excellus is offered after 6 months of employment or during the open enrollment period (Jan 1). Must work 30 or more hours per week; premium matched by The Green Team and deducted from paycheck weekly.

• Dental Insurance through Excellus is offered after 6 months of employment or during the open enrollment period. Must work 30 or more hours per week; premium matched and deducted from paycheck.

• 401K Retirement matching up to 3% – contribution deducted from paycheck. Eligible after working for 1-year w/ The Green Team.

• Paid Federal Holidays with required guidelines.

• Paid Time Off (PTO) accrued with hours worked.
