Landscape Architect / Landscape Planner for Project Development and Strategic Green & Open Space Planning
The City of Frankfurt am Main is looking for a Landscape Architect / Landscape Planner (f/m/d) to strengthen its work in project development and strategic green and open space planning, with a strong focus on climate adaptation.
Frankfurt is a fast-growing, diverse metropolitan city facing increasing challenges from climate change. Within the Green Space Department, this role contributes to the strategic development of climate-resilient green and open spaces across the city. The position focuses on citywide green and open space planning, blue-green infrastructure, project development, and the implementation of pilot and model projects. It also involves coordinating interdisciplinary planning processes, working closely with other departments, and moderating participatory processes with citizens and stakeholders.
The role is full-time or part-time, classified at EGr. 12 TVöD, and requires a university degree in landscape architecture or a related field, several years of professional experience, and a strong understanding of climate adaptation strategies in urban planning contexts. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work conceptually and strategically, and experience in interdisciplinary environments are essential.
