The company supports organisations in conducting Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas reporting and securing third-party verified reports. It helps businesses define achievable carbon neutrality pathways and set net zero goals aligned with recognised standards. Green Positive also offers respected certification and clear communication frameworks to highlight clients’ climate leadership to stakeholders and the broader market.
Role Description This ESG & GHG Reporting – Internship for Graduated candidates is an on-site role based in Bengaluru. The intern will support data collection, validation, and analysis related to greenhouse gas emissions and broader ESG metrics for MSME clients. Day-to-day activities include assisting in preparing emission inventories, compiling reports, and contributing to documentation required for third-party verification and certifications. The role involves working with finance and accounting data to align climate reporting with established standards, as well as helping draft concise summaries and presentations for internal teams and clients. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional colleagues, participate in client discussions where needed, and gain hands-on experience in ESG frameworks, carbon neutrality pathways, and net zero goal setting.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret quantitative data and perform basic data analysis for ESG and GHG reporting.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in an understandable way to diverse stakeholders.
- Foundational knowledge of finance and accounting, with interest in applying these concepts to ESG metrics and climate-related disclosures.
- Understanding of financial reporting principles and their connection to sustainability and climate-related reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, environmental studies, sustainability, or a related discipline (recent graduates preferred).
- Familiarity or interest in ESG frameworks, climate change, and carbon accounting; prior coursework or projects in these areas are an advantage.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or similar) and comfort working with structured datasets.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Bengaluru, demonstrate attention to detail, and manage tasks within agreed timelines.
